The first volume of the Hindi version of epic odia treatise “ Shree Guru Bhagavat ” would be soon unveiled in public domain . The epic treatise “ Shree Guru Bhagvat ” comprising of 16000 stanzas set in nine syllable meter authored by Revered Gurujee Shree Chandrabhanu Satpathyjee has been widely acclaimed by littérateurs of Odisha and abroad alike ; He was recently awarded the first “ Mahapurush Jagannath Das Samman Award ” acknowledging His immense contribution in the field of Odia spiritual literature .
The first volume of the Hindi version of “Shree Guru Bhagavat” comprises of three parts. First part detailing the characteristics and subtleties of sadgurus, gurus, mystics etc. Second part deals and elucidates about different categories of disciples followed by third part elucidating upon sacred diksha (initiation) and guru-shishya (disciple) bond and other subtle topics . The epic Odia poem is in four volumes .
The lyrical stanzas from this epic poem are regularly being sung at varied Shirdi Sai mandirs in Delhi, Gurgaon, Odisha, abroad etc as offerings to the Supreme ; the melodious rendering of “Shree Guru Bhagavat” is also available in music CD and can often be heard playing at many temples .
