Shri Chandra Bhanu Satpathy- is a familiar name in the spiritual world and is a sheet anchor in propounding the path of sai. Any human being unknown to this name has perhaps not traversed the path of Shirdi Sai or spiritualism and its essence. For more than two billion people across the globe, He is the light of expectations and belief and their guide on the spiritual path .

Reverentially addressed as ,“Gurujee”,  by millions of Sai devotees  across the world,   Shri   Chandrabhanu Sathpathyjee  calls himself as an ordinary servant of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba –spreading the  message of humanism, purity, love,  compassion and tolerance as taught by Shri Sai Baba. Gurujee is   a living embodiment of the perfect master  inspiring others to follow the path of  Saibaba. Gurujee says:  “Shri Shirdi Sai is the ultimate reality ”.

Shri Sathpathyji comes from a rich cultural family background of administrators & litterateurs. His father Shri Gokul Ch. Satpathy was the the Director of Education of The Maharajah of Mayurbhanj State. Smt. Harshamayee Satpathy, respected mother of Gurujee was a very religious housewife. Gurujee was born in the year 1948 & is a devout since childhood which he imbibed from His respected parents.  He   pursued   post graduation in political science  from Delhi University and served for some time  as a Professor .  He joined Indian Police Service in the year 1972 and headed many important assignments like Civil aviation security etc .He was awarded various distinctions /medals by Government of India for his meritorious service. He superannuated in the year 2008 as Director General of Police and is presently serving the Government of India as Advisor besides fulfilling his responsibilities as a family person and towards millions of devotees of Baba.

Gurujee was drawn by Shri Shirdi Sai in the year 1989 and since then has been leading the Sai movement across the world to take the teachings of Shri Shirdi Sai amongst one and all  to help persons look within with earnestness  and seek answers . Gurujee does not believes in miracles .

Around 218 Shirdi Sai temples have been built under His guidance across the world in countries like USA, UK, Cuba, Spain, Australia etc to name a few which are propagating the Sai philosophy of humanism, purity, love, compassion, and tolerance which is  its essence. These institutions engage in charitable activities like organizing medical camps , providing ( flood)  relief material  etc during natural calamities, sponsoring medical treatment, food donation , education , etc  .

Shri Satpathyjee has written  an epic  spiritual treatise “Guru Bhagvat”  ,  a  poetic composition of 16,000 lines in navakshari (nine syllable) meter in Odia expounding the principles of  master-disciple lineage , spiritual sciences  etc . This treatise has also been partly translated in English and Hindi and is sung in many Shirdi Sai temples across the world as an invocation offering to the Master. The first volume of the epic poetic treatise  “Guru Bhagvat” comprising of 4000 stanzas  was released in Shirdi on the auspicious occasion of 92^nd MahaSamadhi Diwas of Shri Sai  at Baba`s charan by Chairman of the Shri Shirdi  Sansthan Trust  in the presence of thousands of devotees and other trustees of Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan , Shirdi.

“Gopya Ru Agopya” a profound spiritual  treatise in Odia, authored by Gurujee,  elucidates  the subtle principles  of  Cosmic sciences , progression of  soul and related matters , nature of elements etc ; “Srishtitattvaanuchintanam”  is the Sanskrit version of the original Odia treatise authored by Baba. Shree Gurujee  has been nominated for  first “ Mahapurush Jagnnath Das Samman “ award for His  enriching contribution  to and  excellence  in Odia  Spiritual  literature .

He has authored many other books  in English and Hindi   like  “Shri Shirdi Saibaba and other perfect Masters ”, “Baba  May I answer ”, “Sai Sharan Mein ”, “Shri Shirdi Saibaba evam anya Sadguru ” which have been  translated in many other Indian languages like Bangla, Oriya, Assamese, Gujrati , Marathi, Telgu etc. These books elucidate the path of the Masters and help the seekers in their quest while dealing with other mundane matters encountered by seekers on the(ir) path  .

Gurujee has extensively used music as a medium of bhakti offering to Shri Shirdi Sai . He has composed many lyrical songs which are available in music albums “Living with Sai” , “Tubhyam Namami” , released by Times Music which have received wide acclaim in India and abroad. The album “Tubhyam Namami”  has been rendered in the mellifluous voice of Gurujee. The musical compositions in “Living with Sai” have been rendered in the voice of leading singers  like Suresh Wadekar, Sadhna Sargam etc. Yet another  music Album CD  “Aao Sai” , produced by Times Music , India   featuring eight of the finest lyrics and  musical compositions of   Revered Gurujee Shree Chandrabhanu Satpathyjee was released on 13th Jan 2011  by  Shree Gurujee  .  Refreshing  soulful sufiana  melodies of “Aao Sai” in voice of leading singers like  Shreya Ghosal, Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, Kailash Kher, Shilpa Rao, Mohit Chauhan, Rekha Bhardwaj  etc with breadth taking music range takes listeners to charmed land of Sai .  Music CD album  “ Sai Meoldies” was also launched by Shree Gurujee in USA  which contains numbers in voice of  leading singers like Ajit Kadkade  etc.

Gurujee has also composed musical compositions on Shri Jagannath  entitled “ Shri Jagannath Mahima” which has been widely appreciated all over the world by all devotees of Lord Jagannath .Other audio cassettes  in Hindi featuring songs on Sai are  “Sai Sangeet ”, “ Preet Sai Ke Liye ” , “ Sai Ka Banda” etc  to name a few , which have been set to music by Shree Gurujee.

Gurujee, an ardent devotee and servant of Shri Shirdi Sai has dedicated himself to the mission of spreading His message of humanism, purity, love , compassion, tolerance  and provides guidance to all seekers who have come in contact with Him . He demonstrates by His own example how to mentally dwell in Sai Consciousness while performing day to day duties of the material world. He devotes a major portion of his daily life in serving Sai by attending with love and compassion to the anguished souls, listening to and attending to the problems people bring before him, infusing them with positive outlook and determination and spiritually guiding them towards the path of Sai .Many devotees have been helped by His guidance acknowledging his intuitive spiritual ability to foresee events. Millions of devotees seek His guidance as a Master, father, brother, friend, confidante. He is Sai love incarnate to millions of Sai devotees. His only aim and identity is to serve Baba by serving His children.
