Free Health-check up and Volunteer Blood donation camp-2016

Like every year, this year (2016) also a Free Health check up and volunteer blood donation camp was organized on 4th January at the premises of Shree Shirdi Sai Peeth, Baripada with the supervision of the Secretary Sri Santanu Satpathy. The Mayurbhanj Chemist & Druggist Association had supported along with the Head-quarter hospital.  Dr Chandan Murmu, MD, CDMO, District HQ Hospital inaugurated the camp with the presence of 12 Doctors from the Local and adjacent areas.

Dr. Pinaki Dutta, MD DM, Endocrinology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh, Dr. Asutosh Mohapatra, MD DM, Gastroanterology, from the Apollo Hospital, Bhubaneswar and Dr. Subash Chandra Nayak, BDS from Bhubaneswar Dental Hospital were the Guest doctors who contributed  their enormous effort in completing the aim of this Mega Health check-up camp.

Around 1600 people became benefited from this Health Check up camp along with the distribution of Free Medicines with the help of the Mayurbhanj Chemist & Druggist Association.

With the support of the Redcross Blood bank, around 67 units of blood had been collected from the volunteer donors. We all are aware about how Shree Sai was involved deeply in serving the poor and badly affected patients. This Mega Health-check up and blood donation camp was intended just to follow the very simple principle of our beloved Baba that Service to Man-kind is Service to the Almighty.
