Miss Universe Jimena feels ‘energised’ after Saibaba’s Darshan

SHIRDI: The worldalt says it and now the world is seeing it – the faith in Shirdi Sai, the great seer of the 20th century, is spreading fast and wide.

Bit by the love for Sai that she heard from many a people across her homeland, Mexico, the reigning Miss Universe 2010 Jimena “Ximena” Navarrete Rosete paid a short trip to the sacred town of Shirdi on Thursday.

According to officials, the 23-year-old Mexican took the round of the sanctum sanctorum with folded hands and took prasad that was given to her by Shree Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi officials.

Mingling with the crowd of faithfuls who were present on Thursday in the temple premises, with folded hands she listened attentively to officials as they spoke of life and wisdom of Sai.

At the end of her spiritual tour she observed: the cultures and civilizations of India and Mexico may be different but the darshan of Sai had given me a different type of energy.

Navarrete, born and raised in Guadalajara, the capital city of Jalisco, Mexico and one of the two kids of dentist parents, the Miss Universe 2010 did a namaste with her palms joined while she offered prayers at the samadhi of Sai Baba, wearing her diamond tiara crown.

Jayant Sasane, the chairman of Shirdi Sai Baba Trust, offered a statuette of Sai Baba to Miss Universe as a memento of affection and wished her good for she had come to the doorsteps of Sai.
